About the Role
Goldenville School was founded in January 2008 with a vision to be a citadel of learning and moral excellence, raising a new generation of leaders who will impact the world positively. Our mission is raising Godly children with integrity, independence, excellence, and essential skills for lifelong learning within a prepared environment using a broad, balanced curriculum. We are currently seeking a dedicated and culturally grounded Yoruba Teacher to inspire our students and foster a deep appreciation for our indigenous language and heritage.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, interactive, and structured Yoruba language lessons to students in alignment with the school curriculum.
- Integrate modern educational technology and digital tools into daily classroom instruction to enhance student engagement.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that encourages linguistic and moral development.
- Participate in school events, cultural activities, and curriculum planning meetings.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a relevant degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable educational institution.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to leverage digital learning platforms for effective teaching.
- Relevant professional teaching certifications will be an added advantage.
- Deep passion for teaching, student development, and the preservation of Yoruba culture and language.
- Applicants must reside within the Amuwo Odofin axis and its close environs in Lagos State.
