About the Role

Elevation Professionals, a reputable management consultancy and publishing firm, is seeking a passionate and qualified Yoruba Teacher to join our dynamic team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in preserving and teaching the Yoruba language and culture to our students, ensuring an engaging and culturally enriching learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba language lessons in accordance with the established curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their language acquisition journey.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and culturally stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
  • Design instructional resources, quizzes, and learning materials to reinforce classroom teachings.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
  • Communicate effectively with students and management regarding educational goals and progress.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an NCE, B.Ed., or B.Sc. in relevant educational or linguistic fields.
  • Minimum of one year of active teaching experience, preferably within a structured school or tutoring environment.
  • Must reside within Ijeshatedo, Surulere, or easily accessible nearby areas in Lagos.
  • Deep understanding of Yoruba grammar, literature, and cultural heritage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about education and youth development.
