About the Role
Elevation Professionals, a reputable management consultancy and publishing firm, is seeking a passionate and qualified Yoruba Teacher to join our dynamic team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in preserving and teaching the Yoruba language and culture to our students, ensuring an engaging and culturally enriching learning experience.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba language lessons in accordance with the established curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their language acquisition journey.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and culturally stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Design instructional resources, quizzes, and learning materials to reinforce classroom teachings.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
- Communicate effectively with students and management regarding educational goals and progress.
- Possession of an NCE, B.Ed., or B.Sc. in relevant educational or linguistic fields.
- Minimum of one year of active teaching experience, preferably within a structured school or tutoring environment.
- Must reside within Ijeshatedo, Surulere, or easily accessible nearby areas in Lagos.
- Deep understanding of Yoruba grammar, literature, and cultural heritage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
