Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba language and literature lessons in alignment with the Nigerian educational curriculum.
- Prepare secondary school students effectively for external examinations including WAEC, NECO, and UTME.
- Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Promote Yoruba culture, traditions, and values through interactive classroom activities, cultural clubs, and school events.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that encourages active student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to enhance overall student performance and curriculum development.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Arts in Yoruba (B.A. Yoruba), Bachelor of Education in Yoruba (B.Ed.), or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience teaching the Yoruba language at the secondary school level is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and examination requirements.
