Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured Physics lessons to secondary school students in alignment with the Nigerian and West African curriculum.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and interactive classroom activities that encourage critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, practical laboratory sessions, and examinations.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective learning and student engagement.
- Provide individualized academic support and mentoring to students requiring extra help in Physics.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Prepare senior secondary students adequately for external examinations including WAEC, NECO, and UTME.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Physics, or a related discipline with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Proven teaching experience within a reputable secondary school setting is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian secondary school Physics curriculum and external examination standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital tools and e-learning platforms into daily classroom instruction.
