About the Role
Jaypecstar Academy is a premier educational institution comprising a high school, nursery, primary school, crèche, and after-school programs. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Year 5 English Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals and help shape the academic journey of our young learners in Lugbe, Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English language and literature lessons tailored to Year 5 students.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the progress, development, and attainment of students.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and uphold the high standards of discipline and values set by the academy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and participate in school-sponsored clubs and societies.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress and behavioral development.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification in Education, English Language, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience, specifically within the primary school segment (Year 5 experience is an added advantage).
- Strong command of the English language with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must reside within Lugbe or its immediate environs to ensure prompt resumption.
- A valid TRCN registration or relevant teaching certification is highly desirable.
