Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive, engaging, and well-structured geography lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning and student participation.
- Provide targeted academic and emotional support to students, addressing individual learning needs and encouraging curiosity.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, school administrators, and department staff to enhance the overall school curriculum.
- Design, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments to accurately track student progress and academic growth.
- Organize educational activities, school field trips, and geography projects that connect classroom theories to real-world experiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or a related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong command of the subject matter with the ability to simplify complex geographical concepts for students.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team of educators.
- Valid teaching certification or license with relevant educational bodies in Nigeria is an added advantage.
