About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Year 5 English Teacher to join our team of passionate educators and help shape the academic foundation of our primary students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive Year 5 English lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through innovative pedagogical approaches.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a culture of mutual respect and discipline.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification in Education or English Language.
- Proven experience teaching English at the primary level, preferably Year 5.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Residency within Lugbe and its immediate environs is a strong requirement.
