About the Role
Malaria Consortium is seeking a dedicated and organized Workshop Assistant to support the upcoming 2026 ITN Microplanning State Training of Trainers (STOT) and Data Validation in Borno State. In partnership with the National and State Malaria Elimination Programmes and funded by GiveWell, we are distributing over 16 million dual-insecticide nets using a door-to-door approach to combat widespread pyrethroid resistance. You will play a vital role in ensuring our workshops run smoothly, efficiently, and maintain high logistical standards throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities- Arrive on duty by 7:00 AM daily to ensure the meeting venue is clean, tidy, and hygienic.
- Facilitate the seamless movement and distribution of meeting materials to and from the venue.
- Ensure attendance sheets are accurately completed by all participants and compile them into electronic templates.
- Collect, verify, and type participants' bank account details into Excel templates.
- Coordinate closely with food vendors and hotel management regarding daily attendance and feeding times.
- Set up and operate IT equipment while capturing photographs of meeting sessions.
- Submit a comprehensive meeting report and all required deliverables to the Admin Officer.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- At least one year of proven experience in a similar administrative or workshop support role.
- Strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
