About the Role
Ravinora Energy Services Limited, an indigenous Nigerian oil and gas EPC leader established in 2011, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Wireline Operator. In this field-based role, you will be instrumental in executing complex well intervention and wireline services, contributing directly to our commitment to operational excellence and local content development in Nigeria's upstream sector.
Key Responsibilities- Execute safe and efficient wireline operations on client well sites in accordance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Set up, test, and operate wireline units, tools, and surface equipment prior to and during job execution.
- Conduct pre-job safety meetings, hazard identifications, and risk assessments for all field operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with wireline tools and surface equipment promptly and safely.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, service tickets, and equipment maintenance records.
- Collaborate closely with company engineers, rig crews, and client representatives to ensure project objectives are met.
- Comply strictly with HSE policies, regulatory frameworks, and environmental protection guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering, Geosciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant upstream oil and gas industry experience, with proven field exposure in wireline operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of well completions, intervention procedures, and oilfield safety standards.
- Possession of valid industry certifications will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to thrive in demanding field and site environments.
