We are currently seeking a skilled Wireline Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic base maintenance team in Nigeria, ensuring the highest standards of equipment reliability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, testing, and comprehensive troubleshooting of mechanical and cable systems.
- Ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all wireline equipment prior to deployment.
- Read, analyze, and interpret complex technical manuals, engineering schematics, and blueprints.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track, log, and schedule equipment servicing.
- Operate specialized testing equipment, including multimeters and megameters, to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
- Collaborate with field engineering teams to maintain strict service quality and minimize operational downtime.
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience with a proven track record of service quality.
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical systems, power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in using electrical test equipment such as multimeters and megameters.
- Candidates with prior Wireline (WL) field experience who are eager to transition into a Base Maintenance role are highly encouraged to apply.
