About the Role

We are currently looking for a qualified Wellbore Construction Field Specialist to oversee and optimize drilling activities from spud through well handover, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site technical support and supervise daily drilling, casing, cementing, and well completion operations.
- Monitor critical wellbore parameters, hydraulics, torque and drag, hole stability, and rate of penetration to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate seamlessly with drilling contractors, mud engineers, directional drillers, and wireline service personnel.
- Ensure the integrity and availability of primary and secondary well barriers while supporting robust well control procedures.
- Review drilling programs, BHA designs, well schematics, and operational procedures for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct pre-job meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and operational readiness reviews.
- Maintain accurate daily drilling reports, service logs, and technical documentation while ensuring strict HSE compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in drilling, well construction, or well engineering with substantial field exposure.
- Proven background in offshore, deepwater, or complex well construction environments.
- Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control certification.
- Deep understanding of API, ISO, and industry HSE standards, including Permit-to-Work and emergency response protocols.
