About the Role
DESAC Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading indigenous oil and gas, engineering, and industrial construction company headquartered in Warri, Delta State. We specialize in delivering world-class oilfield operations, marine logistics, and energy-related solutions across the region. We are currently looking for dedicated and experienced Well Test Operators to support our offshore and onshore operations, ensuring optimal data acquisition and well performance while strictly adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain well testing equipment, surface read-out systems, and flow measurement devices during operations.
- Record accurate data on pressures, temperatures, and fluid flow rates, preparing detailed daily operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.
- Perform pre-job and post-job equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical and pressure issues.
- Collaborate closely with petroleum engineers, rig crews, and client representatives to achieve operational objectives.
- Handle high-pressure equipment safely and manage fluid separation processes efficiently under challenging field conditions.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven relevant experience working as a Well Test Operator within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of surface well testing equipment, pressure vessels, and flow control systems.
- Valid industry certifications, including BOSIET, HUET, and HSE Level 3, will be a strong advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a high commitment to safety protocols and operational excellence.
