About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to drive the successful execution of our civil and building construction projects in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, accurately, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily civil construction activities including earthworks, foundations, and concrete works.
- Review architectural and structural drawings, resolving discrepancies with consultants and ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Manage material resources, monitor quality control, and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.
- Coordinate with quantity surveyors and project managers to track project progress, verify measurements, and control costs.
- Supervise subcontractors, lead site teams, and conduct thorough inspections for snagging and project handover.
- BSc or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline with relevant professional registration.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in civil and building construction project execution.
- Proven expertise in site supervision, structural works, road construction, and drainage systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage contractors and collaborate effectively with consultants.
