About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-orented, and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our professional team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing project finances, ensuring cost-efficiency, and driving the successful delivery of our extensive housing and estate development projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), budgets, and comprehensive cost plans for real estate projects.
  • Conduct accurate measurements and quantify construction works and materials efficiently.
  • Monitor project costs, ongoing expenditures, variations, and overall budget performance.
  • Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, final accounts, and contractor payment assessments.
  • Support procurement and tendering processes, including tender document preparation and bid evaluations.
  • Administer construction contracts, negotiate costs with suppliers, and ensure compliance with commercial terms.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify completed works and assess progress for accurate valuation purposes.
  • Identify potential cost overruns and recommend proactive, cost-saving measures to management.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience within the real estate development or construction sector.
  • Professional membership with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and current Nigerian market costs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard cost management software.
  • Exceptional analytical, numerical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
