About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services, supporting critical energy industries across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a skilled Well Intervention Supervisor to join our dynamic team and drive operational efficiency, safety, and risk reduction in our well operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review technical specifications, tenders, and scopes of work for well intervention equipment and services.
- Provide expert advice during pre-qualification and tender evaluations to select high-performing contractors and suppliers.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for future operations budgets and current Authorities for Expenditure (AFEs).
- Collaborate with petroleum and reservoir engineers to optimize development project planning, well performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate new wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, and well testing technologies to improve safety, time, and cost performance.
- Draft, review, and manage intervention programs and final well reports in compliance with company safety management systems.
- Monitor daily operations against approved programs, conducting time analyses and thorough operational investigations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, partners, and internal management, providing accurate reports, monthly expenditure updates, and variance analyses.
- Ensure all completion and well intervention procedure manuals comply with company policies and current Nigerian legislation.
- Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related engineering discipline; an MSc is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of combined office-based engineering and active field supervisory experience, with at least 5 years in complex, high-risk environments.
- Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) certification.
- Current IWCF or IADC Well Cap Level 4 certification, renewed every two years.
