About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services for critical industries. We are currently seeking a skilled Well Intervention Engineer to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will coordinate the design, planning, and management of completion and workover engineering activities, ensuring seamless integration with asset teams and adherence to the highest safety and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and review well programs, completion designs, workovers, slickline, coiled tubing, and End of Well Reports.
- Manage technical specifications, scope of work for tenders, and well cost estimates for budgets and AFEs.
- Ensure full compliance with company EHS policies, supervise contractors, and maintain robust well integrity and barrier reviews.
- Troubleshoot major operational problems, optimize well design, and control operational schedules to ensure efficient well cycle times.
- Provide daily progress reports to the Completion and Workover Manager while maintaining accurate service ticket records.
- Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Extensive professional experience in well intervention, completion, and workover operations.
- Valid BOSIET certification and current IWCF or IADC Well Cap Level 4 certification.
- Strong expertise in cost control, risk management, and regulatory compliance within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
