About the Role

MEED Networks is a multi-faceted Information and Communications Technology organization using I.T to improve the operational efficiencies of private businesses to government institutions in Sub-sahara Africa. We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful financial delivery of our growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and detailed bills of quantities for various ICT and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct rigorous feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises to maximize project profitability.
  • Manage contract administration, including the drafting of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and negotiation with vendors.
  • Monitor ongoing project progress, track expenditures, and prepare comprehensive monthly valuation reports.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve cost-related discrepancies and variations efficiently.
  • Ensure all construction and technology deployment activities comply with relevant industry standards and financial regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the ICT, telecommunications, or construction sector.
  • Professional registration with relevant bodies such as NIQS (Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors) or equivalent is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced corporate environment.
