About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services, supporting critical industries to streamline operations and achieve project goals. We are currently seeking three talented and driven Well Engineer Advisors to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide high-level technical oversight, manage multidisciplinary project teams, and ensure the successful execution of complex workover and completion programs while upholding the highest standards of safety and engineering integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project teams, assess service conformity, and optimize workover and completion programs for field and office operations.
- Provide high-level technical oversight for high-risk operations such as well kills, complex fishing strings, and reservoir interface operations.
- Monitor daily workover activities, review site performance metrics, and recommend alternative operational strategies.
- Ensure all operations strictly comply with company standards, QA/QC policies, and HSEQ procedures.
- Personally supervise delicate operations, validate rig-based reports, and conduct post-operational debriefings and lessons-learned sessions.
- Analyze downhole and surface data to anticipate potential problems, mitigate risks, and draft operating procedures.
- Oversee remote safety and emergency systems, organize safety drills, and lead HSE awareness initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related engineering discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience working in high-risk drilling and well engineering environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Wellview, Compass, and related well design software alongside Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid BOSIET certification and IWCF or IADC Well Cap Level 4 certification (renewed every two years).
