About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our growing construction and industrial team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing top-quality metal structures and components that power our diverse project portfolio, ensuring exceptional structural integrity and adherence to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision welding, cutting, and fabrication of various metal components and structural frameworks.
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
- Repair and maintain metal frameworks, heavy equipment, and machinery parts to minimize downtime.
- Conduct rigorous inspections to identify surface defects and ensure superior weld quality.
- Operate professional welding equipment and related workshop tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on all sites.
- Collaborate closely with site supervisors and construction teams to meet project milestones.
- Maintain all welding tools and machinery in optimal, working condition.
- Minimum of SSCE or a Technical Trade Certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
- Relevant professional welding certifications will be a strong added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in arc welding, MIG, TIG, and gas welding techniques.
- Strong ability to read, comprehend, and execute technical drawings.
- Thorough understanding of workplace safety procedures and hazard control.
