We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Welder to join our state-of-the-art production facility located in Ode Remo, Ogun State. Key Responsibilities- Perform precision welding and fabrication on vehicle components, frames, chassis, and complex metal structures.
- Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Arc, and Gas welding, based on project specifications.
- Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Measure, cut, align, and fit metal components meticulously prior to the welding process.
- Inspect all finished welded joints to ensure structural integrity, alignment, and absence of defects.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain workshop equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools.
- Collaborate closely with production engineers, technicians, and fellow team members to achieve daily targets.
- Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards to maintain a secure workspace.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO, NABTEB, Trade Test, or relevant Technical College certification.
- At least 3 years of hands-on welding experience within the automotive, engineering, or heavy manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of modern engineering, metalwork, and fabrication principles.
- Proficiency in identifying welding defects and executing effective corrective actions.
- Strong physical fitness, discipline, reliability, and an unwavering commitment to workshop safety.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
