About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a leader in the Nigerian manufacturing and FMCG sector, is seeking a diligent and experienced Weighbridge Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Honeywell Flour Mills. In this role, you will validate the accuracy of inbound and outbound materials using the weighbridge to safeguard the company against stock loss, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and supervise all weighbridge staff across respective shifts, preparing and submitting duty rosters for management approval.
- Accurately measure and record the weight of all incoming and outgoing trucks and materials.
- Validate the correctness of invoices, waybills, and weighbridge tickets before any loaded truck exits the facility.
- Maintain a comprehensive log of daily occurrences and report promptly to the Weighbridge Manager.
- Collate and submit accurate staff shift allowances and overtime sheets to the HR department for processing.
- Resolve or escalate all weight-related issues to the Weighbridge Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Support clients and vendors during weighbridge maintenance, repairs, and calibration exercises.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Prepare and submit accurate, error-free daily and monthly operational reports.
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least three (3) years of relevant supervisory experience, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
