About the Role
Narim Multiventures Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, delivering innovative and customized services to industrial, commercial, and institutional clients across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our dynamic team and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities while maintaining strict environmental and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and control panels.
- Conduct regular inspections of treatment processes to guarantee optimal performance.
- Monitor and record flow rates, chemical usage, and system performance data accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests on water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adjust treatment processes and chemical dosing as required to maintain high water quality standards.
- Identify operational issues and perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, operational reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, equipment failures, and system alarms.
- Coordinate effectively with maintenance teams and external contractors when necessary.
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in wastewater treatment plant operations.
- Relevant professional certification in wastewater treatment operations is a distinct advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of biological treatment, filtration, and sludge handling processes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and electrical plant equipment.
