About the Role
Scruples Resources, a premier consultancy and human resource development firm in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will drive engineering design evaluations, manage critical project phases, and provide high-level technical support while ensuring strict adherence to industry standards, budgets, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection processes.
- Coordinate the development of CCAP Gate 3 deliverables and Functional Interaction Plans.
- Ensure completion of assigned work scopes consistent with overarching project objectives and standards.
- Serve as a primary technical interface between the Project Team and contractors.
- Lead the Project Management Team (PMT) in successfully applying robust Project Management Systems.
- Manage project issue resolution, change requests, and endorse change authorizations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience within the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated multi-discipline skill set with experience across engineering, construction, and project controls.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering design standards, technical specifications, and industry work processes.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, coordination, and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite and fluent written and spoken English.
