We are currently seeking a visionary Waste to Value (Circular Economy) Manager to drive impactful sustainability initiatives across Nigeria's agricultural value chains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic design and implementation of gender-inclusive waste-to-value initiatives, focusing on high-potential waste streams like black soldier fly production, composting, and bio-fertilizers.
  • Negotiate and secure formal waste supply agreements between agricultural processors and project-supported young entrepreneurs.
  • Develop innovative financial and operational approaches to reduce entry barriers for women and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
  • Broker commercial offtake agreements with industrial buyers to demonstrate the market viability of waste-derived products.
  • Engage with community leaders and stakeholders to ensure social safeguarding, economic empowerment, and direct mobile money payment control for women.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Agribusiness, or Circular Economy with 7+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven track record in waste management, circular economy projects, or agricultural value chain development within Nigeria.
  • Strong expertise in commercial negotiation, multi-stakeholder partnership management, and market systems development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to gender equity, youth empowerment, and disability inclusion.
  • Fluent in English with strong proficiency in local languages such as Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo being highly advantageous.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for field visits across project states.
