About the Role

The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE) was established on March 14, 2024, with the strategic mandate to improve healthcare delivery in Nigeria and expand the national manpower output in the health sector. Evolving from the former Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy into a dynamic university comprising six faculties and 17 departments, FUAHSE is dedicated to training innovative, skilled, and proactive professionals. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the esteemed position of Principal Assistant Registrar II to support our growing academic community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support within university registries, committees, and academic departments.
  • Assist in the formulation, interpretation, and implementation of university policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Manage student admissions, registration processes, records management, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Coordinate administrative meetings, prepare accurate minutes, and follow up on critical action items.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive relationships and ensure smooth institutional operations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior administrative staff to promote efficiency and professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution; a Master's degree or professional certification in administration will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated progressive administrative experience within a tertiary institution or a comparable complex organization.
  • Exceptional competence, high integrity, and uncompromised commitment to the objectives and values of the University.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
