About the Role
Whip Smart Service Providers Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities at our Lagos facility in Egbeda. In this role, you will coordinate daily tasks, supervise loaders and warehouse staff, and ensure all operations run efficiently and on schedule. We are looking for a firm, organized, and physically active professional who can effectively manage a team, enforce workplace standards, and maintain optimal inventory organization.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff and loaders.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure they are completed within required timeframes.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, productivity, and overall performance.
- Ensure proper handling, movement, storage, and arrangement of goods to minimize damage or loss.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities to guarantee smooth operations.
- Identify operational delays or performance concerns and report them to management promptly.
- Maintain strict workplace discipline and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly reports on warehouse activities.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or inventory management.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising loaders and coordinating operational teams.
- Strong leadership abilities with a firm, responsible, and results-oriented approach.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and basic computer reporting skills.
- Physically active and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
