About the Role
PRIMERO Transport Services Limited, a leading urban mass transit provider operating high-capacity bus services across Lagos State, is seeking a qualified and proactive Warehouse Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, maintaining strict health and safety standards, and supervising logistics personnel to support our extensive fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise all facets of warehouse operations including ordering, receiving, processing, recording, and distributing supplies and materials.
- Manage forklift and pallet jack operations while overseeing the loading and dispatching of items.
- Monitor delivery schedules and adjust operations accordingly while verifying documentation completeness.
- Ensure timely stock replenishment and oversee the receipt and dispersal of materials entering or leaving the facility.
- Conduct periodic physical inventories and maintain accurate digital and physical records of equipment, tools, and products.
- Enforce health and safety standards to maintain a secure and compliant warehouse environment.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant discipline.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
- 2 to 3 years of cognate warehouse operations or logistics experience.
- Strong competencies in supervision, negotiation, safety management, and data entry.
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance protocols and reporting/analyzing operational information.
