About the Role
Jumia is your number one online shopping destination in Nigeria, offering a wide range of electronics, fashion, home appliances, and more with convenient payment and delivery options. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse performance at our Abuja fulfillment center, spanning inbound, inventory, and outbound operations to drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with inbound volume projections, schedules, quality checks, and packaging guidelines.
- Manage inventory performance to minimize out-of-stock rates and execute regular cycle counts.
- Optimize storage capacity, SKU storage standardization, and ensure timely put-away across all processes.
- Oversee outbound processes including pick, sort, pack, and ship for Jumia Express orders within SLA.
- Drive team performance management, coaching, capacity planning, and daily task allocations.
- Implement innovative cost-reduction strategies and conduct regular 5S audits to ensure a safe working environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, or Engineering.
- Proven experience in FMCG, e-commerce, or large-scale warehouse management.
- Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-shift warehouse teams and enforce strict SOPs.
- Must possess an NYSC certificate or valid exemption letter and be based in Abuja.
