About the Role
Iknorbert Communications Limited is a leading sales and distribution company specializing in ITEL mobile phones and accessories across the African continent. We are currently looking for a results-driven Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our expanding operations in Aba, Abia State. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence, ensuring efficient warehousing, and driving optimal supply chain performance across our branches.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust warehouse policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure efficient, compliant, and safe daily operations.
- Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, inventory tracking, and timely delivery of goods while optimizing warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Supervise, mentor, and train warehouse staff, including supervisors, forklift operators, loaders, and off-loaders.
- Monitor stock levels, execute regular cycle counts, and implement inventory management techniques like FIFO/LIFO, ABC analysis, and batch tracking to prevent stockouts.
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations including transporter selection, route planning, schedule coordination, and cost negotiation.
- Track inbound and outgoing shipments to ensure real-time visibility, resolving any operational issues or customer complaints promptly.
- B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is an added advantage.
- Proven professional experience in warehouse management, distribution, or logistics operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong expertise in inventory control principles, supply chain best practices, and warehouse management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must currently reside in Aba, Abia State, or be willing to relocate immediately.
