About the Role
Planet Bottling Company is dedicated to producing quality beverages and contributing excellence to Nigerian manufacturing and logistics. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team on a full-time, on-site basis in Benin City. In this role, you will play a vital part in our supply chain by ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely, directly contributing to our mission of delivering top-tier performance and value to our consumers.
Key Responsibilities- Receive daily deliveries, unload products, verify shipment documentation, and inspect goods for accuracy and quality.
- Organize inventory systematically to ensure easy retrieval and optimal storage utilization within the warehouse.
- Pack and prepare orders securely for timely shipment to various distribution channels.
- Safely load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Operate warehouse machinery including forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support seamless daily operations.
- Collaborate closely with logistics and operations teams to streamline the movement of goods.
- Demonstrated experience or proficiency in shipping, receiving, documentation verification, and inventory organization.
- Strong capabilities in safe packing, unpacking, and efficient loading and unloading of heavy products.
- Valid certification or proven competence in forklift operation and pallet jack usage.
- Solid understanding of standard warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift heavy materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail, high reliability, and the ability to excel both independently and within a team.
- Prior working experience in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is a distinct advantage.
