About the Role
CWAY Group is a leading multinational company specializing in the production and wholesale supply of treated water, beverages, and food products across Africa and Asia. We are currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Internal Control Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our assets, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards within our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor internal control systems, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct routine stock audits, process audits, and compliance checks across operational units.
- Monitor inventory stock variances, wastages, damages, and necessary system adjustments.
- Identify operational risks, control gaps, and process weaknesses, and recommend actionable corrective measures.
- Review financial and operational transactions for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct physical stock counts and accurately reconcile findings with enterprise system records.
- Investigate operational irregularities, financial losses, and control breaches, escalating significant findings appropriately.
- Track the implementation and closure of internal and external audit recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Three to six years of relevant professional experience in internal control, internal audit, risk management, or compliance.
- Mandatory proven experience working within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory control, audit procedures, and compliance monitoring.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.
