Key Responsibilities- Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and offering expert recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, seamlessly communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff using our POS system.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing refills, and handling any concerns with utmost professionalism.
- Maintain immaculate table standards by clearing dirty dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and resetting tables for incoming guests.
- Process billing accurately, handling cash and card transactions efficiently while adhering to hotel financial policies.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams to guarantee a smooth, flawless dining experience.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification; relevant hospitality training or certification is an added advantage.
- Proven previous experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role within a hotel or restaurant.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills with a polite and engaging demeanor.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Basic familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
