Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome all guests warmly, ensuring they feel valued and attended to promptly.
- Present menus, explain food and beverage selections, and offer expert recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and maintain table hygiene throughout the guest's visit, clearing empty glasses and plates discreetly.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with a high level of patience, professionalism, and tact.
- Process payments accurately and manage billing operations efficiently using the lounge's point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate seamlessly with bartenders, chefs, and other floor staff to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the lounge environment.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Proven work experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or in a similar hospitality role within a busy restaurant, lounge, or hotel.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Impeccable personal grooming and a polished, professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by the nightlife industry.
- Residing in or around Mpape or easily accessible areas of Abuja is an added advantage.
