Key Responsibilities- Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and offering detailed recommendations on food and beverage selections, including our signature buffet items.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff using the hotel point-of-sale system.
- Deliver orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to upscale dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, anticipating needs and proactively addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and hygiene standards across all dining areas, event spaces, and service stations.
- Handle billing and payment processing accurately while maintaining professional discretion and confidentiality.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven professional experience as a Waiter or Server within a reputable hotel, luxury resort, or upscale restaurant.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, fine dining etiquette, and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry heavy service trays.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
