Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality management and recruitment firm, is hiring on behalf of our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited. We are currently seeking a passionate, skilled, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join the dynamic team at their location along Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service in accordance with international hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and providing detailed recommendations on food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or special requests with grace and professionalism.
- Process payments accurately using the establishment's designated point-of-sale systems.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests depart to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant professional certification in hospitality or a related field.
- Proven previous experience working as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
