Rustic Cheers Restaurant & Lounge is an inviting casual dining spot located at Shop A2, Kajo Mall, Fate Road, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Highly popular for its cozy ambiance, delicious continental dishes, and lively weekly karaoke events, we are dedicated to providing memorable experiences for all our patrons. We are currently looking for a passionate and customer-oriented Waiter or Waitress to join our vibrant front-of-house team and ensure our guests receive top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and seat customers warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and providing detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering expert recommendations and catering to dietary requirements when necessary.
- Deliver orders promptly and efficiently to tables, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant standards.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure guests are satisfied, proactively addressing any concerns or additional requests.
- Process payments using point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining tables, stations, and the overall restaurant floor.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow service team members to guarantee smooth daily operations.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant academic qualification.
- Proven working experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
