About the Role
BONS Industries Limited, a premier manufacturer of high-quality food ingredients, bakery materials, packaged foods, and beverages since 1989, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Manager to join our factory team in Enugu. In this vital role, you will direct our comprehensive supply chain operations, ensuring seamless distribution across our nationwide branch network while maintaining the exceptional quality standards our customers have come to expect.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping activities.
- Optimize supply chain routes and distribution networks across the six geopolitical zones to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
- Oversee warehouse management functions to ensure accurate stock levels, safe storage conditions, and efficient dispatch processes.
- Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers, transporters, and vendors to secure favorable terms and reliable service.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise logistics and warehouse personnel to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant industry standards.
- Utilize ERP systems and data analytics to generate logistics reports, forecast demands, and resolve operational bottlenecks promptly.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant logistics experience, preferably within the FMCG, manufacturing, sales, or distribution sectors.
- 3 to 5 years demonstrated success in a management or supervisory role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regional transportation networks, warehousing practices, and import/shipping operations.
- Exceptional leadership, planning, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Relevant professional certifications in supply chain or logistics will be a strong advantage.
