Rustic Cheers Restaurant & Lounge is an inviting casual dining spot located at Shop A2, Kajo Mall, Fate Road, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Highly popular for our cozy ambiance, exceptional continental dishes, and lively weekly karaoke events, we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable dining experiences. We are currently looking for a passionate and talented Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and help us maintain our high culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a wide range of delicious continental dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring speed and efficiency during peak hours.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, complying with local food handling regulations.
- Monitor food inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate with management for timely ingredient procurement.
- Collaborate with the management team to design new menu items and seasonal specials that appeal to our diverse clientele.
- Supervise kitchen staff, provide guidance, and ensure smooth workflow during daily operations and special lounge events.
- Proven professional experience working as a Chef or Cook in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or lounge setting.
- Relevant culinary school certification or equivalent hands-on professional training.
- Deep knowledge of continental cuisine preparation, food safety protocols, and kitchen management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff.
