We are currently recruiting a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter / Waitress to join our dynamic hospitality team in Nigeria. In this role, you will act as the face of our establishment, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming, seamless, and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Listen carefully to guest preferences, accurately record food and drink orders, and effectively explain daily specials.
- Transport food and beverages promptly and safely from the kitchen and bar to the correct tables.
- Maintain proactive customer care by checking on guests regularly, refilling drinks, and addressing any requests or complaints swiftly.
- Process payments accurately by delivering bills, issuing receipts, and handling cash or card transactions securely.
- Perform table maintenance duties including clearing used plates, wiping down surfaces, and resetting tables for incoming guests.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or equivalent certification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Proven previous experience working as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with a polite and engaging personality.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Basic numeracy skills and familiarity with point-of-sale payment processing systems.
