About the Role
Bheerhugz Café, a premier stylish lounge and top social hub located in Ikeja and Surulere, Lagos, is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Shop Supervisor to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining our high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest enjoys our warm, professional service and top-notch food, drinks, and event experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily lounge activities and coordinate staff duties across shifts.
- Ensure excellent customer service delivery and promptly resolve all customer complaints.
- Monitor sales performance, drive upselling initiatives, manage cash handling, and prepare daily operational reports.
- Maintain strict cleanliness, food safety, and general hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Monitor inventory and stock levels, reporting any shortages, wastage, or discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure staff punctuality, proper grooming, and strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Report operational issues, critical incidents, and staff performance concerns directly to upper management.
- Oversee and ensure proper execution of all opening and closing procedures.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in a busy restaurant, lounge, bar, or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of service staff.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, sales reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Must reside in Lagos, preferably mainland areas close to Ikeja or Surulere.
