About the Role
Greywood Hotels & Apartments, situated in a serene and well-secured environment, is looking for a professional and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our hotel's Food and Beverage team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure a pleasant dining experience for all guests, and support smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism.
- Present menus, take food and drink orders accurately, and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Check in with guests regularly during their meals to ensure satisfaction and respond to additional requests.
- Clear tables, reset them for incoming guests, and maintain immaculate cleanliness in the dining area.
- Process bills, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts accurately.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards regarding food and beverage handling.
- Assist in setting up dining spaces for events, banquets, and special occasions.
- Report any guest complaints or service issues immediately to the supervisor for swift resolution.
- Previous experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Strong multitasking abilities, time management skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional appearance, grooming, and a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment.
