Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and present menus with detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate customer orders, serve food and drinks promptly, and continuously monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle table service professionally, anticipating guest needs and addressing any concerns swiftly.
- Operate the cash register and Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately to process cash, card, and digital payments.
- Issue receipts, manage take-away orders efficiently, and process refunds or exchanges according to company policy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining and cash-handling area throughout the shift.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or equivalent certification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Waiter, Waitress, Cashier, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
- Familiarity with POS software and basic cash-handling procedures.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm, polite, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or heavy items.
