About the Role
Blu Atlantic Hotel is a luxurious 50-room hotel featuring a beautiful architectural masterpiece, finest serenity, and state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Lekki. We are seeking a passionate and customer-centric Waiter / Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our guests across our restaurants, bars, and lounges, utilizing your warm hospitality, keen attention to detail, and knowledge of fine dining to ensure an unforgettable culinary experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional, prompt, and courteous service to guests, ensuring all their needs are anticipated and met
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, serve meals, and efficiently manage table service
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus, wine lists, and cocktail recipes to advise guests effectively
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all service areas, dining rooms, and bar stations
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff, baristas, and other hotel departments
- Participate actively in ongoing wine, beverage, and menu training programs
- Ensure strict compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
- 1-2 years of proven experience working in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or luxury hotel environments
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
- Professional certifications in hospitality, mixology, or food and beverage service are highly desirable
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Physical stamina required to stand for long periods and lift, carry, and move heavy trays and equipment
- Fluency in English with a polished and professional presentation
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and industry best practices
