About the Role
YellowDoor Hotels is a premier boutique hotel in Abuja designed for discerning business and leisure travelers. Our signature restaurant and bar, The Living Room, celebrates rich local cuisine with world-class hospitality standards. We are currently looking for a passionate and attentive Waiter to join our dynamic front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and make confident recommendations regarding daily specials and regional flavors.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, inputting them correctly into the hotel POS system.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining immaculate table presentation and adhering to strict hospitality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction continuously, anticipating needs and resolving any concerns immediately and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow and handle secure cash and card transactions.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality, table service, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication skills with a natural ability to connect with guests and upsell menu items.
- Familiarity with POS systems, order accuracy, and basic cash handling procedures.
- Preferred qualifications include prior hotel dining experience, strong knowledge of Nigerian cuisine, and food hygiene certification.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 80,000 to NGN 120,000 based on experience.
