About the Role
Wendernek Consulting Limited, a leading human resource management solution provider in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter to join our client's dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service, warm hospitality, and memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and attend to guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner, assisting them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings to guests.
- Take guest orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally while maintaining high standards.
- Check on guests regularly during meals to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns immediately.
- Prepare and arrange dining areas before service and ensure thorough clean-up after service.
- Maintain a high standard of table presentation, cleanliness, and organization throughout shifts.
- Adhere strictly to cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with cafe policies.
- Report guest feedback, complaints, or operational issues directly to cafe supervisors.
- Comply with all local health, safety, and food handling regulations.
- A minimum of an SSCE, High School Diploma, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous proven experience as a waiter or in a similar hospitality role is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
