About the Role

The Enriched to Reach Out Foundation (ETRO Foundation) is seeking a dedicated Volunteer - Research & Documentation specialist to support our mission of empowering underserved communities in Abuja and Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Operating under our core motto, 'Equipped by Grace, Reaching with Love,' we strive to create sustainable opportunities for vulnerable populations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in gathering data, producing reports, and documenting our outreach activities to amplify our social impact.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research on socioeconomic challenges affecting underserved communities in Nigeria.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to support the foundation's project proposals and strategic planning.
- Write clear, compelling reports, case studies, and impact stories for internal use and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized digital archives of foundation projects, outreach reports, and qualitative data.
- Collaborate with the programs and communications teams to ensure accurate documentation of all community interventions.
- Assist in preparing grant applications, newsletters, and advocacy materials based on field findings.
- Open to students, recent graduates, professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs passionate about social impact.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a proven ability to draft professional reports.
- Basic research, data gathering, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
