About the Role
Resortlife.travel, a premier travel-tech company booking Maldives resort holidays since 2006, is seeking an experienced Video Editor to transform our rich podcast and resort footage into captivating content. If you have a passion for travel, hospitality, and digital storytelling, this fully remote opportunity offers a chance to work with stunning visual assets from over 180 luxury resorts.
Key Responsibilities- Edit full podcast episodes from multi-camera recordings, managing the process from rough cut to final export.
- Produce breathtaking resort and promotional videos utilizing high-end Maldives footage.
- Cut dynamic short-form clips optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Clean up and mix audio, apply professional colour grading, and integrate accurate subtitles and captions.
- Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic and ensure fast turnarounds across all digital channels.
- 4+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with After Effects experience being a distinct advantage.
- Proven background in editing multi-cam podcasts or interview-driven shows.
- Demonstrated expertise in colour grading, colour correction, and dialogue audio mixing.
- A robust showreel and portfolio showcasing relevant work on YouTube, Vimeo, or a personal site.
