About the Role
Bedmate Furniture, a leading furniture manufacturer and retailer in Nigeria since 2002, is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bringing our brand story to life through compelling visual content that highlights our extensive range of home, dining, and office furniture across our showrooms in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging, and professional promotional videos for social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
- Cut, arrange, and combine video clips to create compelling stories, incorporating smooth transitions, special effects, animations, captions, and soundtracks.
- Perform colour correction, audio enhancement, and basic visual effects to ensure top-tier production standards.
- Produce high-performing short-form content such as Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborate closely with the videographer, marketing, and creative teams to brainstorm and execute innovative content concepts.
- Manage, organize, and archive raw footage, graphics, audio files, and finished digital assets efficiently.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Film Production, Media Studies, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of cognate experience as a professional video editor.
- Proven proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and emerging AI editing tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional storytelling, motion graphics, colour grading, and sound design capabilities.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
