About the Role
IFING Media Limited is seeking a creative and dynamic Video Director to join our team in Kano State, Nigeria, on a full-time or part-time on-site basis. Founded in 2018, we are Africa's pioneering Islamic Finance and Halal Industry media company, dedicated to promoting economic empowerment inspired by Shariah principles through groundbreaking visual content.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end video production, from initial concept development and storyboarding to on-set direction and post-production supervision.
- Collaborate closely with creative, editorial, and marketing teams to align video projects with brand objectives and campaign goals.
- Coordinate cast, crew, production schedules, and resources to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
- Maintain high standards of visual and audio quality, ensuring all outputs reflect the mission and values of IFING Media.
- Review rough cuts, provide constructive feedback to editors, and refine final outputs for broadcast, digital platforms, and other media channels.
- Strong expertise in video direction, film production, and digital video, including camera work, lighting, and sound coordination.
- Proficiency in video editing and familiarity with industry-standard production software.
- Proven experience directing engaging content for media, advertising, or related industries, with exposure to Islamic finance or halal markets being a strong advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage sets and diverse teams effectively.
- Relevant academic background in Film, Media, Communications, or an equivalent combination of professional experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Kano State with flexibility for local travel and extended production hours when necessary.
