About the Role
The Anambra State Government invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Vehicle Inspection Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring road safety, regulatory compliance, and proper maintenance standards for vehicles operating within the state. You will work closely with senior inspection officers to execute daily operations and uphold transportation safety laws.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior officers in conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections and roadworthiness tests.
- Verify vehicle documentation, licenses, and permits for compliance with state and federal laws.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspected vehicles and report non-compliant cases promptly.
- Support traffic management and safety campaigns organized by the transport department.
- Perform basic mechanical and administrative tasks as assigned by the inspection supervisor.
- Minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
- Must possess a Pass in the Federal Ministry of Labour Trade Test Certificate Class III in the appropriate trade.
